My Training

I am a Rites of Passage Mentor and have worked with children and young people for over 20 years, specialising in supporting families through the thresholds of life. I spent a decade in international development focussing on community building and supporting dialogue around human rights, social justice, sustainability and interfaith. This lead to developing a unique curriculum called Earth Studies; exploring our human connection with nature.

Inspired by my teaching experiences and community-building work in Europe and Asia, I founded Routes of Life; leading empowerment circles for young people and their families and guiding them through coming of age transitions.

In my work with children I see many girls lose their confidence as puberty approaches and offer girl circles to address this. GirlKind is a place where girls can safely explore the changes taking place, celebrate the path to womanhood and ease concerns.

I also work with boys exploring issues around masculinity, feminism, healthy communication and wellbeing. I believe that confident, happy children will create a peaceful and healthy world and devote my time to supporting young people as they start the journey to adulthood.

I weave an awareness for our beautiful planet into my work as I am passionate about developing children's connection with nature and their own true nature.

Working with families through workshops and empowerment circles I offer mothers and fathers a chance to find space for a deeper bond with their child. Parenting has many challenges and our family workshops create a loving space where we can celebrate our roles, formulate new tools for going forward and build intentional community to support each other.
